A live 1v1 race against a real matched opponent - same chain rules as the rest of the game, just decided in real time.
- 1Matchmaking pairs you with a real opponent
- 2Vote on the pregame rules together - era, plus two optional rules. Objectives only turns on if you both vote for it. Team blind is a 3-way pick - off, on after round 15, or on from pick one - and the majority pick wins; with no votes or a tie it stays on after round 15
- 3Once votes lock, the match is fixed: 30-second clock, 3 lives, 3 lifelines - this is the only mode where you don't set the rules yourself
- 4Win or lose, if both players want to run it back you drop straight into a new match in the same era - no pregame lobby to repeat
