King of the Court

KOTC runs the same teammate-chain rules as every other mode, but as a free-for-all: up to eight players in one lobby, last one standing wins.

How it's different

  • Up to 8 players in one lobby - everyone answers at the same time each round
  • A wrong guess or a timeout costs a life (no instant loss like Online H2H) - last player standing wins
  • Overtime starts off in King of the Court - Practice and private-lobby hosts can enable it, and each use extends the shared round clock for every player

Empty seats? The lobby votes on bots

  • If matchmaking can't fill every seat, the lobby votes on bench bots to fill the rest - each bench bot plays at its own difficulty tier
  • Check the bots you want in - once a majority of humans in the lobby check the same one, it locks into the pod

A mock of the bot-fill vote screen. Check a bench bot to back it; once a majority of the human players check the same bot, it locks into the pod. Here Splash Gordon is already locked in, and Midrange Mike has one vote toward a majority.
