Method: top 60 rookies' combined Rookie Season Score - stats, playing time, and era are the core, with a small boost from Rookie of the Year and All-Rookie Team vote share; the win itself still doesn't add anything. That means this ranks what a class did AS ROOKIES, not what it became - 1996 (Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash's quiet rookie years) ranks below its reputation, while 1984 shines.
